Dave, are you asking if that car is a Packard Hawk?

If so, I doubt it. It's got the 1953 front bumper. The car on one side is a '56 Olds and on the other, a rare '57 Plymouth Savoy hardtop, so the picture may have been taken before any 1958 Packard Hawks were delivered in that area. BP

Yes Bob, I think you are right. could be a '53 with the side grills removed. The sign covers the centre of hood dipping down To the bumper.

If you are refering to the white (light color) in the back of the inner fender well, there is similar color on the back of the rear inner fender. Maybe the car ran through something and it splattered up on the inner wells. If this is a new car, and I assumed it was, that would be rahter strange....a poor prep job.

It looks like the brake/clutch pedal splash shield. Perhaps painted black, and also the rear fender brace.
