                  • I can't see where the deck lid handle is, but that sure looks like a rumble seat step-plate (correct position and shape) on the rear fender of that poor beaten-up Dictator coupe in #3635. If that is a rumble seat coupe, it would have been one of only about 1300 manufactured for '37 in that configuration without sidemounts and not counting the few made with RHD. Tom

                      Well, by 1958 (the likely year of the Dodge truck) or later these were just old cars. Is it possible to tell from this photo that it was built w/o sidemounts? Being used in a stunt show, I'm sure if it had them they would have been removed before being put through it's paces---for "safety, of course."
