in #2135, check out the Civil Defense siren in the center of the picture, remember those? In Seattle they used to test them every Wed. at noon.

Where that was in 2135, they ran at 10:00 Friday morning.

This picture taken evidently in the mid-1950's shows my hometown, Fayetteville, North Carolina. The location is the 100 block of Gillespie Street. I would imagine that the Btudebaker in the picture was sold by R&W Auto Sales. In the background is the Market House that was built in 1832 after mujch of the center of town burned to the ground, including the old State House which had stood on that spot.
