                • 1893 and 1894 have to be among my very favorite pics on this thread. How nice to see a '64 or '65 Stude, in color, in this thread. WHY DIDN'T THOSE CARS SELL BETTER??!!! And that green Kaiser is special indeed.

                      High angle, low key studio shot. Could have been for Studebaker publicity or something else. From the position of the photographer it appears the subject of the photo is the lady in the chair, but the entire scene is so well lit that I have to think the photographer is more likely a model as well and the car is the real subject of the shoot. It is certainly the subject of this particular photograph. This is really well lit and is a great example of the skill of the photographers in the '40s.
                      Perhaps someone here will have some actual insight into the purpose of this photograph.
