          • Wonder how many right hand drive 2R5 trucks were produced - would be cool to have one.

            • Any story behind picture #6317?

              • I like pic #6303--only color showroom pic of '66 Studes I've ever seen. And amazingly, an Avanti II in there as well. Wish I knew where that pic was taken.

                • Bill, how can we tell this is an Avanti II versus an unsold '63/'64? I am not 'Avanti-savvy .

                    • I believe the Avanti in #6303 is a Studebaker. Someone else will tell us why.

Perhaps you can zoom in & see the "S" in the pirates buckle emblems on the sail panel. I know I cant but it does look like the early Avanti Red color which was more of a burgundy.

Two things made me think "II":

                                1) Looks to me like reduced-radius front wheel opening

                                2) Looks to me like no white wheels. I'm thinking other pics I've seen of II's don't have white wheels.

Also, early II's had the pirate buckle emblems, just without the "S" in them.

I even thought the window sticker looked larger than the small ones Studebaker was still using in '66.
