Yes, they have a free "bidders bar".
But I think the TV exposure and the big name they've made for themselves have more to do with the higher prices seen there than at other auctions.

Example: If you were a guy that wants a new toy to show off and play with, what would sound better at the country club, burger stand, or a local show...

or
"I bought it at Silver"
TV works wonders.

I'd love to know the deal between Speed and B-J. In a fair world, B-J would pay Speed big bucks....but I'm sure it's the other way around.

I will log off now and go see if I can get some pictures of the Studes.

Their "media center" is surprisingly small and doesn't have wireless Internet and just a few hardline hookups. Will report back when I can.

I really sort of stopped watching the Barrett-Jackson auctions because of the inflated prices cars are going for. I guess the people who overbid have more money than brains. Wait till they try to sell the car that they overbid on. SURPRISE!!!!!
Even the commentators don't know what they're talking about.
