Were there ever any fog lights that were bolted on bumpers for the hawk series? Rummaging around the shop and I found a box with a set in it, they mount right up to my bumper. Seems to fit well. Will post pictures soon (hopefully). Maybe someone out there has a set and has pictures. Would like to see them.

Yes, there were fog lights to mount on the bumpers of Hawks such as 1958 Golden Hawks, Speedster etc. I just sold a pair on Ebay. See pictures. They are getting hard to find.
They were produced by Hall Lamp.

To: james.seagle,----- I really do not believe those lights were factory options after the '55 models were produced. But since the same bumper was used through '64, (Hawks), and they fit perfectly and look
really nice on those models, (in my opinion), if You have a set why not use them?

They look like 1955 fog lights that would have six volt bulbs. Did you replace the bulbs with 12 volt units? It appears that the orientation of the bulb(s) is off kilter.Gary L.

I'm not sure if they're 6 volt or 12 volt, and it is the lenses that are off (I assume that you meant lense instead of bulb) because they're not secured to the housing. It was a quick bolt on job, I've already removed them and put them back up...

( What I'm saying is: the '55 Studebaker front bumpers were the only ones to have that extra 'inner' hole )Current projects: '56 Stude Power Hawk

That would make sense... That's what I removed to put the lights on...Current projects: '56 Stude Power Hawk

That's how I mounted the fog lights on my '53 (though they and the '53- '54 bumpers are different from the '55s) and I like them even though I dislike cluttering the beautiful Starliner style.Paul Johnson, Wild and Wonderful West Virginia.
