Sounds like a nice car even with a few issues.

I too had dropped Frank A. a quick email today regards this "barn find." Frank has generously shared the production order for the car - happy reading

Even though it started "life" in Montana, it was assembled in South Bend and not Vernon (LA).

Thanks for the production order info Richard. Looked at the car today and as the information says, it's Sunglow Gold for sure, not Yellowstone. Guess I was thinking of the '57-'58 Gold which is darker. What do I know, I'm just a Lark guy.........

Skinny, the guy wouldn't still have his 63 R2 Hawk by any chance?

Now go back and look for that '63 R2 GT. It might still be hidden away there, too!

He owned a couple GT's, but the only one left was a '63 with a standard 289/3 speed combination. A friend of mine bought that and will be putting it back together for resale later this year. A few more cars need to find homes now that the Golden is spoken for, but nothing as exciting as an R2.
