                • I love pictures like this. Lorain, OH, late 50s. It’s not very clear but I looked closely and I believe I did spot a Studebaker.

                    • I haven’t always followed this thread, chances are this has already been posted; but if not, it sure needs to be here. I have no info on it.

                        • Boy, you hardly ever see a Studebaker in Las Vegas photos, much less a late-model one...and a Daytona Wagonaire to boot!

                            Bob,

You might see a Studebaker at a shall we say a lower high roller place. The $1.57 buffet is a clue. All this is gone now even the high roller places of the time like the Sands, Flamingo, and others.

I would think you would see an Avanti at the higher end places. I hope someone can find an Avanti parked in Las Vegas.

Right, Bob: A stage full of beautiful girls, a $1.57 buffet, and a 1964 Studebaker Daytona Wagonaire...is this a great country of what? (Well, at least it was at the time...IIRC, the photo was dated 1969...)

You're right about seeing an Avanti...but of all the Las Vegas photos floating around the internet, has anyone ever seen one with an Avanti in it? BP
