I thinkl I see the front fender of a third lark in this post.The second car behind the second lark on the left looks like the outline of another lark taxi. Can anyone enlarge it to confirm this?

Was that paint-sheme in #2648 usuall on a 2-door -55?
Can't remembering seing one like it before.

The '55 in this picture is a 2 door sedan, not a coupe. I have seen this paint job on another '55 2 door sedan like this. I thinjk you could get it with the classic trim. I may be wrong here so chime in at let us know for sure one way or the other.

The Studebaker wrecker has a Nova Scotia license plate, probably 1952. The crest on the cab door appears to say Digby Bus Service Ltd. The International bus should have been able to get through the water if the driver were going slow enough not to splash the ignition. The driver of the Pontiac taxi probably was being excessively optimistic/brave/foolish -- take your pick.
