& yeah, as said before: late 50's Hillman, Singer & Sunbeam were designed by the same sweet guy who did Studebaker, but if you ever looked inside one you wonder what they thought about there...
Singers were just gussied-up Minxes. You can see the influence of the 53-55 K body in the roof line of the Sunbeam Rapier of the late 50's. American influence on the outside, British influence on the inside?

    • "Bathroom influence" on the inside!
      & how 'bout those Hawk-fins & 2-door hard-tops...?

& #1269 is back, or was it only me who couldn't see it for a while?

          • I didn't notice the Hillman Husky when I posted #1269. When I was a little kid we lived in North Hollywood and my mom and dad had a Hillman like that. In face we drove it from there to Omaha twice during the couple of years we lived there. Four people (mom, dad, myself and my younger brother) in that little thing was quite a trip!

                      • I think there are three Studebakers in 1289.

                        • I think I see three, as well, but my eyes aren't too good without glasses. Obviously, the 1941 two-tones car , second fron the bottom left corner going away. Then the third car ahead of the 1941 looks to be a 50-52. Coming from the opposite direction in the far lane, third car back in that lane, looks as if it might be a Stude. Loe this thread.

                          • Sam, I think the one coming towards us is a '52.
