    • …and a blue post-war sedan on the far cross street just beyond the El Roberto Apts?

Also a Ranchero behind the Hawk.

      • There was an earlier USS Recruit built in Washington DC (IIRC) during World War 1. Images are easy to find.

        • If one don't see the medalion in the grille, how does one spot a -57 Silver Hawk from a -58?

That's the two-tone treatment for 1957 Silver Hawks, Nox. If it was a '58, only the roof and fin(s) would be the accent color, not the arrangement on the subject car. BP

                • Another from The Old Motor. Isn't that a dark-colored '50 bullet-nose lurking behind the sales office, waiting for a wholesaler to come along and offer $75 for it?

And check out the rare 1953 Packard convertible in front of the sales office. Wholesaler would probably have to pony up $300 for it. BP

I thought your dad passed away in the 1980's.

                      • Post 11873: What a great picture! The Volvo PV 544 always reminded me of a shrunken 47 Ford 2 door sedan. I do see the 50 right behind the building and the 53 Packard Convertible. I watched a episode on H&I of a black and white Superman. There was in that episode a 1953 Champion Starliner and Perry While was driving a 1953 Packard Convertible. I think there was a Kaiser in that episode too. Clark Kent drove a Nash Healy as well. Those were the days my friend.

I looked hard and could not find a Studebaker. Little help?

A rare 1954 Corvette. Also a Renault Dauphine but my old eyes don't see a Studebaker. Before I get a seeing eye dog, where is the Studebaker?

                        • Those 60-62 Valiants sure are beautiful even thou they aint no Studebakers...
                          (& handles good too)
