    • OMG! Did that take me back to my youth. I recognized every place in the video. That left a lump in my throat. 1950s, 1960s all over again.

      • An early Lark is going away at the begining too & at 2:06 a blue 47-52 is doing the same.

And a whole mess of nostalgia for a San Fernando Valley boy who was there, then, for all of this and never once listened to anything other than 93/KHJ. Wow. Got me right in the gut. Thanks for posting!

Leaks - of course - but don't forget road draft tubes: PCV helped a lot to do away with those streetcenter slicks.

                • Bob Palma and JGK 940, I have a different opinion of the dark stripe down the middle of roads. Back then people drove in the lane they were supposed to stay in, and the pavement wore accordingly.... today's "steering wheel holders" tend to wander all over the place, therefore no consistent path is obvious, ha !

                      • Those flee Markets like 11614 sure attracted a LOT of Station Wagons, amazing how many 2 Doors even. I count 12 Wagons visible and one partial un-identifyable '56 Plymouth? in the Lower Left Front Corner.
The two tone Green '55 Pontiac and the Brown Chev. next to it may also be 2 Doors.

The Fords and Stude. are easy to I.D. a 2 Door unlike the GM Products with the Square-ish rear seat windows.
Ford Ranch Wagons and Country Sedans Galore!

I wonder if that could be a Black '57 Olds Wagon in the back row, very hard to I.D. that makes 12 easy, and 2 difficult = 14!

                        • Looking at #11617 I can't help thinking about how hot it probably was inside the cars that day...
