Probably custom body work underway, a nose job and something to delete the front bullet. It's parked between two 1957 model year cars, so it couldn't have been a very valuable used car anywhere and would have been subject to someone's interpretation of a "custom."

Some I have are from my home town and some from Montgomery, Alabama. Some are ones I saved ? Anyway this could be what it looked like back in the day in a lot of locations, Right?
