True, Bill.
Can we just barely see enough of the longer deck lid handle on that C-body (across the window ledge of the Chevy convertible) to declare that the Studebaker is a 1954 model and not a '53?

Quite possibly, Gary...but with at least 4 Checker taxicabs and one vintage, large-rear-window Volkswagen in the photo, we'll need knowledgable people on those makes to confirm their model year, if that can indeed be done.

The Rambler Classic wagon blocking the view of the Lark taxi appears to be also a 1962.Originally posted by BobPalma View Post

Dwain, I expected you to weigh in with the exact year of the Volkswagen!
I see the car you question and agree that it might be a '58 Starlight. To me, however, I discounted it as a 1958 Ford.

This great panel of tiles you can admire it in the street Tetuán of Seville (Spain), to the height of the number 9. It measures 2. 80 x 4. 60 meters, in 20 x 20 tiles. It was signed by the prestigious ceramic painter Enrique Orce Mármol (1885-1952) in 1924 at the Fábrica de la Viuda e Hijos de Manuel Ramos Rejano, using the turpentine technique.

I believe that the 1960-1961 had a vertical piece in the center of the grille and the 1962 had a round piece, as this car has. I also believe that a 1962 Signet model has a painted grille.Originally posted by Noxnabaker View PostUsed to have a few 60-62 Valiants & I'd say it's a -61, the -60 & -62 didn't have painted grills.Gary L.
