      • #10593, could it be a bronse with white roof Studebaker above the red car at the left parking?

Seems like the various shades of blue were very popular in the '50s.

Looks like a relatively older '57 GH on its way to the '64 Worlds Fair in NYC.

After spending many months there, I believe it's pronounced "Glos-tah". One does not hear too many R's pronounced in that part of the world.

The color is throwing you off. Its actually a Silver Hawk despite it being painted Tiara Gold.

                • Isn't the Galaxie & Ambasador newer than -64's in pic #10610?
& about pic #10609 I don't think I've seen that many Studebakers & MoPars in a mixed parking picture before!

                  • The 1964 Worlds Fair started in '64 and ran through October of 1965, so you could see cars up to 1966 model year.

                      Yeah, I see a full size Chevrolet (either a '65 or '66) and a full size Ford (either a '65 or "66).

The Ford is a 1965, cannot see enough of the Chevy to ID whether it's a 1965 or 1966.

New 1965 Mustang introduced to the general public on April 17, 1964 at the NY World's Fair. Went on sale nationwide April 23, 1964.

                        • That Chevrolet is a '65. (It would have to be, as the World's Fair did not carry over into 1966.)

NYWF didn't have to carry over into 1966 for the Chevy to be a 1966.

Historically, new vehicles are introduced in September of the previous year, so production begins in August.

                            Also see comment in #10614.

Not only do the cars date the photo, but so does the fact that so many of them are parked, unattended, with one or more windows down. Today, people lock their cars to go 100 feet into the Post Office! BP
