What an interesting group of images. Do you know where the speedway is in the poster? I would love to use this image is that okay?

I just found the pic on an unprotected site .

BUT... doing a quick search on the 'net : there was /is ? a track in Stirling Illinois named SpeedBowl Park .
It seems to date from the '40's , and there a lot of results if you search . Beyond that , I know nothing .

One of my co-workers who grew up in Maine confirmed that you are correct. She says Brewer was basically torn down in later years and "modernized" and does not look anything like that anymore.
