Interesting seeing this '55 at an 'introduction' car show with wide whites. Even though you see a lot of old trucks with wide whites today, I doubt if many came from the factory like that.Originally posted by JRoberts View Post

Even as a kid, I never thought a pickup was a "serious" truck if it had whitewall tires. One of my uncles had a 1960's truck with wide whitewalls. It was a red and white Chevy truck with logos advertising his Esso service station. It was not a serious truck, in terms of "truck work." Joe, I don't think that's a Studebaker station wagon in #6889. It's more likely a mid-1960s Dodge Dart wagon.
