If this car is indeed the 1960 Lark hardtop prototype that Ed Reynolds referred to (and then used to prototype the Skytop installation)......I would not trust things like trim items, placement of trim items, etc.

It does look like a '41. Also, 3 lanes over is a Stude going the other way.

The Blue & White Car in the far distance looks like a '65 Sports Sedan! The camera man's?

A real, late '55 2 Door Sedan in Regal Trim with most of the trim, very rare!
Re the picture in posts 1804 and 1811. It does rather look like a bomb hit it, doesn't it? That is Vancouver's downtown east side (the DTES) probably in the middle/late 1960's. Many of the buildings in that area were bulldozed by the city council of the day because they were old by Vancouver standards (1890's, early 1900's - Vancouver was incorporated in 1886), unsightly, poorly built - probably true - a fire hazard - also probably true - and had no heritage value which was mostly true. It was also an attempt to get rid of hippies, druggies, vagrants and squatters which was only partially successful. The DTES was then, and still is Canada's poorest postal code and is right next door to Canada's wealthiest postal code. Although the area in the picture has been built up again, the druggies, drunks and vagrants are still there and it is home to low income immigrants who can't speak English. At one school in the area, it was estimated that there were over 230 distinct languages being spoken. One resident of the area was Jimmy Hendrix's grandmother.

The car in the background? A 1960 Austin Westminster sedan in probably the most popular two tone colour scheme, a very light grey upper over a seafoam green lower.
