[QUOTE]-Bob Andrews- "Is that a Stude coming at us?" [UNQUOTE]
Bob, I support your thought here. To me, it appears to be a 1941 Commander/President coupe or 2 door.
I have about two dozen postcards and photos I would like to send you with postage to have them returned. These are from my collection and feel they would add some new perspectives on the Studebaker road scene. I have new programming in my computer and I'm not sure I am familiar enough to attempt posting these on this site.
I would like to share these and would bow to your opinion if they are suitable or not for this thread. Some are very old but I have not seen any of them on this site. If this is something you would rather not get involved with, perhaps I can find someone locally to do it for me. Thanks for your consideration.

It is a Nash coming at you. There is a Stude in the far right lane under the street light.Last edited by Carl Purdy; 07-05-2013, 07:46 PM.

I stand corrected! My desire to post this pic had me mistakenly seeing Studebaker written in neon on the right side of the building.
All the same, it was certainly from the merger era and sorta fits in, right?
Cheers,

Yes, Ken, it's beautiful. I'm sure Bob Palma will be drooling over it soon...and will have a great story or some obsure fact to share with us all. Thumbs up!KURTRUK

Wow, did they do Nuclear testing in that neighborhood or what?
The Blue & White Car in the far distance looks like a '65 Sports Sedan! The camera man's?

While the above picture shows PACKARD in more legible letters and no Studies are in the pick, it does have a sign showing STUDEBAKER and I am certain Bob Palma would back me up that the picture is from the merger era.
Ken
It looks like every car in the photograph is a 1956 model year Packard built by The Packard Division of Studebaker-Packard Corporation. Very nice!
(BTW, at the curb appear to be 2 of the 3,999 Clipper Super hardtops built that year.)BP
