Hey I'm glad this came up, I was in Harrisburgh PA 2 weeks ago, and I was at a little "old school diner", one of the old stainless steel ones) it was really neat to eat there. Anyway I was looking out the window when I spotted the building directly across from me had an old wheel and tire as the keystone. Looked just like a Studebaker logo from the early 20's The address is 724 Cameron Street Harrisburgh PA

This joint Studebaker/Simca dealership is very interesting. R & W Motors here in Fayetteville, NC, was also a Simca dealer as well as a Studebaker dealer. The Studebaker dealer in Lumberton, about 30 miles south of here also handled Simca.

This joint Studebaker/Simca dealership is very interesting. R & W Motors here in Fayetteville, NC, was also a Simca dealer as well as a Studebaker dealer. The Studebaker dealer in Lumberton, about 30 miles south of here also handled Simca.



My hometown dealer, Carl E. Filer Co. of Greenville, PA, also sold Simca and Sunbeam. They must have pursued Studebaker dealers at about the time South Bend closed. Ed Filer told me he was impressed with the Chrysler Corp. warranty (they were the American distributors for Simca and I think possibly, Sunbeam) and thought it'd be a selling point...longest in the industry at the time. BTW, the '64 Daytona Hardtop I bought that was on eBay last month and hope to receive here next month (!), was sold at the Filer dealership.

Former Studebaker Dealership Building & Site For Sale in Jackson, Michigan!

Drove by the former Ralph E Lewis / Firth Motor Sales at 250 W Pearl in Jackson, MI yesterday and noticed it's now for sale by the city. Found this on their website. The old dealership building is on Lot 7:
