  • Cool/Heat: 1953 LC Radiator replacement options

    Hi,

I had the hood come down on top of a pool stick that I was using to prop it up with and that crushed the radiator pretty good. for a 1953 Land Cruiser what's the best option for replacing the radiator, finding a used one(seems tough to do) or retro fitting in a newer radiator? If retrofitting is the proper course of action what radiator do you guys recommend?
    Thanks guys!

Why not send yours out for repair? Surely in Austin, there's a GOOD Radiator shop?

I've had it repaired already and they weren't able to repair some of the cores and had to just crimp them off. now the top tank is crushed pretty good and leaking. Seemed like about time to get something in better shape. Is having it repaired the only economical option?

Instead of repairing the core, why not replace it? No more worries!
