Exactly what I was looking for!
Right side is exaclty the same horn and mount that was on my 29,0000 original mile 56 Power Hawk.
Do you have a better picture of the left side? As my horns were not the same as each other???

Sorry, those are the best pics. I have.

Both horns pictured are "Sparton" horns. Sounds like you may have a mix & match of "Sparton" & "Delco" horns on your '56.

These photos are pretty ugly, hope they help. As can be seen, they are from a '63 GT

Yes mine are miss matched. Right side is a Sparton and I am not in the shop to look at the other one, but it has a round domed cap.

It was actually the mounting brackets that I wanted to see and the direction the bells are pointing.

Brian, I dug a little deeper and found a few more photos of those DELCO (dome style) horns mounted on my ’56 Golden Hawk. Hope these help you a little more….





On aside note Brian; since you are working in that area anyway, be sure to follow these 1956 Studebaker Engineering Dept. instructions

for the areas behind both side grilles. The #1 "goof-up" I’ve seen on so many nicely restored ’56 Hawks over the decades, is they forgot to paint these areas "BLACK" as required by this drawing (a copy of the entire original "1956 Studebaker Paintline" drawing can be ordered thru your SNM Archives).
