I dont usually do build threads but just wanted to show off what I've got done so far. My car is a 1960 Lark VI. I drove this car into the shop last year but just recently got to work on it. the original frame has rot in the rear portion and everything up front needed rebuilt and was loose. since the power plant is going to be a sbc I wanted to upgrade the rearend, brakes, and steering. the answer is a Frame swap. the donor here is a 4x2 1989 Dodge Dakota reg cab short box. had to shorten the wheel base 3.5 inches. the track width measured real close. enjoy the pics. please give me any feedback you feel could help. this is only a test fit of the body, its not sitting down all the way in the back due to some interference with the trunk floor.
