I just spoke to him, yes he will be @ SB!
Also- if anyone is interested, we discussed wiring the Sol.

    The plan:
Use the Stude Gov for the Ground.
By-pass the L/O Sw- and connect one of the sol wires to the Gov; the other to a fused toggle switch.
    Blamo done![]
    Me likes this setup!!

Great! Hopefully he'll be willing to stop by so we can meet him and get advice on our rebuild... Wednesday near Studes Northwest area. If you talk to him, ask him if he'd stop by![8D]

            Mike-
I'm curious if there is a seal/gasket for the GOV.

              Hi All
I'm not able to attend SD due to a prior commitment to the "Back to the Fifties" in MN made before I bought my Hawk. If any of you that are attending the trans seminar are going to tape it or take notes, I would deeply appreciate a copy.
              Thanks,
              Mr Mike

After going through several used relays I checked with Fifth Ave. Antique Auto Parts they have a new relay for sale at $72. I haven't installed it yet but I think this may be the way to go. They advertise in TW.

dano - yes there is a rubber seal for the governor, part # 1545196, shown on page 210 of the 59-64 parts catalog. I don't know if anyone has it but it looks to be some type of o-ring so maybe a generic replacement might work.

Someone here please tell me if we should/should NOT move the OD lockout cable while in motion?
