What gauge sheet metal did Stude use for their bodies? '63GT Hawk trunk floor to be specific. I am replacing the floor with the pieces from classic enterprises and their sheet metal seems to be thicker.

Classic Enterprises makes their trunk floor replacement panels from 18 gauge, I therefore must surmise the original floor gauge was something less than that as I too noticed when doing two trunk replacements that the new metal seemed thicker.Frank van Doorn
