On my 51` it has a 2 piece back glass but I want a solid glass(I think they look better) How hard will it be to find one?

    Rob,
you might have to have one custom made, but check with Vic Phillips of Phillips Classic Glass, he advertises in the TW but here is his email and P# classicglass@semo.net 873-785-1927

Rob, do you have a business coupe? Reason I ask is that it's the only 51 that had a two-piece rear window.
As has been suggested (assuming this IS a Q-body), custom fab will be the ONLY way you have a glass made, shy of using plastic. [}]

Here is a glass company that can probally make you one. I have seen his work and it is good. They have the correct tint if you have tinted windows. Will be doing all my new glass for my 56 wagon. Reasonable, I think. My car is a 51` State Sedan. I have a 50` Land Cruiser that has a two piece rear glass, and I just assumed that my 51` would to.

I HAVE SEEN AND REMOVED FROM CAR BOTH ONE AND TWO PIECE BACK GLASSES. I BELIEVE THE ONLY DIFFERNCE IS THE METAL STRIP IN THE CENTER THAT IS WELDED TO THE MAIN BODY. YOU PROBABLY COULD CUT THIS PART FROM A PARTS CAR AND WELD INTO A 1 PIECE BACK GLASS TYPE CAR PROVIDED YOU WERE ACCURATE WITH YOUR DIMENSIONS CENTERING UP METAL POST BEFORE WELDING.

Your 51 will have a one-piece rear window.
