Good afternoon,
Earlier this week I posted about tweeking a twisted hardtop door which I am in the process of repairing.
But...
I have the funny feeling that when I was repairing, to the best of my ability circa 1990-2000, I may have got my measurements off when repairing my hardtop's floor and attached sheet metal like the rear lock post/inner rear quarter.
If someone out there has a 62 Lark hardtop that has not been a major rust victim, would someone measure from interior side to side from a point just below the upholstered R/L doorcap to the opposite side and then measure from side to side about a foot from the original measurement point.
I ran a straight edge along the side of my Lark this morning to confirm what I thought I was seeing and I may need to massage more sheet metal to get a better door fit without slamming/lifting and swearing under my breath.
