This is about as good as it gets:

    https://www.ebay.com/itm/324207607569

Without the required 40,000 Volt Coil it is about $154.00

Usually your Dist. maybe the original Prestolite, can be properly repaired.

Pertronix carries one, manufactured right here in the USA. Not sure where the Ebay one is made, China? Dave Thibeault carries them or it looks like you can buy direct. Twice as expensive but sometimes you get what you pay for.

Consider having Thibeault rebuild your Prestolite, he does excellent work and the dizzy will out live you and 100 additional owners;-)

That certainly does appear to be exactly the Same made in China Distributor with a "possibly" made in USA Pertronix Module replaced inside.

Complete with 3 Advance Stops and 3 Advance Springs, all the same.
I do not see Made in USA anywhere on their Ad for either Part.

Another interesting fact is, Pertronix shows the Dist. lower Shaft disassembled!
So chances are theirs is not a "drop in" Plug and Play unit. Sure would help with shipping cost though.

Rich, the Pertronix dist is what was copied to make the Chinese knockoffs that everyone thinks are so wonderful.

Really? Still another US Patented item stolen, and no one can do anything about it. . . . Grrrr!

Videoranger, I have been using one of Dave's Mallory distributors for around 30,000 miles, and it has performed very well.
