  • Body / Glass: 1941 Studebaker President Winguards, front Bumper guards, and top fender ornaments/lights

Early 1941 Presidents, did not have a Hood Ornament, top fender ornaments or side fender ornaments. At mid-year along with the introduction of the "Skyway" trim series and the new Coupe Sedan, all three of these items were released (I think / not entirely sure). I have the accessory listing for Champion, which also list the accessory number for this hood ornament as AC-1153 and the side fender ornaments as AC-1154, however I don't see an AC-number for the top fender ornaments/lights. If anyone can help me with the number for them I would be grateful. Also, I am looking for the AC number for the front bumper winguards and the outside front bumper guards. Doing research for a SDC member without computer access. No I don't have a 1941 President, my loss, as they are one of my favorite Studebakers.

Matthew just removed those wingards from his new to him '41 Commander; would they be the same as the President?

President and Commander are the same.

The winguards from my car had some significant repair work done when they were replated and they aren’t very nice. I also removed the hood ornament. I’d be happy to sell either if someone’s in need.

All of the part numbers are in the parts catalog.
