56 Hood has a bubble in the center. The 57-62 does not have this bubble. These hoods are interchangeable with the 56, but are different in appearance. As noted, no bubble, but the 56-61 uses the same hood ornament and accepts the same style side grilles (shape), uses the same hood top lower molding and lower air deflector molding. 62 hood has no provision for the hood ornament, uses the same style side grills (shape), but uses a different style center grille. But, will accept the 56-61 center grille and side grilles.
As Rich points out, the 63-64 hood will not interchange outright. The front part of these hoods are molded differently due to updated side grilles used. You would have to use the 63-64 side grilles, in order to use these hoods.
I bought a very nice 60 Hawk, one time, that had installed, a 56 hood and grilles, 58 front fenders and fender mounted park lights, 53-56 doors (with scallops), 61 fins and moldings, a 57 deck lid and an R1 engine from a 63 Hawk. Talk about Johnny Cash car..............

If it actually IS NOS, with a Part Number in the Wrap or Box, at least $200.00, I guess it kinda matters if you looking for a GOOD "Seller's Price" or a "Buyer's Price"!
Some will ask $500.00 to $600.00 and shipping from a distance $1-$200.00. They ARE Rare in Perfect NOS Condition.StudeRich

Several cosmetic differences in 56 through 61, but all are interchangeable, without any other mods, except cutting a hole in any of them in order to accommodate 57-58 GH superchargers. To use a 63 or 64 hood on 56-61, you'd need to use the accompanying, "nostrils" (side grills) from the 63 or 64.

Really nice used ones about half that. Slightly damaged, less.
A really good price depends on your perspective of the above. Body work eats up a lot of time, er, Money, and depending on the skill of the body person, includes copious amounts of light weight bondo.
