One thing I tried once that seemed to work OK was to roll the window down, run the channel around the glass and as far down into the rear of the door as it would go. I then bent the top piece over until it had a gradual curve and put the end right up against where it stops at the vent window. I slowly rolled the window up and let the glass put the curve in the channel . Then you can attach your clip at the bottom and it should be good. Some people like to put some adhesive on the back of the channel but I have never needed it before. This is the flexible channel that you would put into an early Lark - other years might differ. Good luck!

Make certain the ends of the beads are not crimped. This would prevent them from sliding to match the curve,
The best/easiest way is with the window out; especially with the rear windows of the 2 door sedan. Both corners of the window are curved.
Center the channel on the window, leaving about 6" more to the front than the back. Anchoring it with some masking tape will help.
Then press it around the curve, first front, then back, making certain the bead ends are sliding in the process.
Once it matches the glass you can untape it and install with the anchor clips, and a little bit of Liquid Nail or other adhesive if you wish. I've never been as lucky as 62champ if I don't use the adhesive.
If either end still too long it can now be cut without concern for the bead sliding.Brad Johnson,
