Body / Glass: tips for removing Avanti door lock tumblers?

I have a 1963 Avanti R1 and am having a tough time removing the door lock mechanism to change the key tumblers. I have followed the manual's instructions to insert a punch into the small hole to release the tumbler from the door handle but nothing is working. Any suggestions or tips that I might try? Thanks

You must have the Key in the Lock to remove the Lock Cylinder from the Door Handle.
If you have No Key, the Tumblers will have to be drilled out.

you can use a lock pick set.. or make up a couple tools, one to put rotational pressure on the cylinder, the other to reach in the keyway and raise the tumblers

Thanks. I was able to work it out. I had a key. Just needed three hands.
