  • Body / Glass: "U" Clip Bolts

First off, I have NO idea what the "official" name is for the clips used on almost all the sheet metal that bolts the front end together. Next, it's not the clips I need, but the special type bolts w/attached washers that are used with these clips. The PO evidently "misplaced" most of the ones which he took off, leaving me with about a dozen. I need about 2 dozen more of these bolts, but not knowing the proper name for them makes it impossible to find them. I've only ever seen these particular bolts in my box of Studebaker "fasteners" which came with the car. Any help at ALL will be greatly appreciated...

Probably what you're looking for. http://www.restorationspecialties.co...g/page_203.pdf And they screw in to "speed clips.

The parts catalog will have the correct part number and the correct name of the parts. Using the correct name makes verbal/written communication much more clear. Pictures are even better.

RADIO ROY - I followed your advice, and found the Part Number for the bolts in my Chassis Parts Catalog. Beyond belief, I found the exact bolts at Studebaker International. Thank you, so much. I did NOT want to use some sort of substitute bolt...
