So far the only down side is the ugly red Edelbrock sticker on the front of the carb. Ken, Deltaville Va

If your using a Edelbrock carb then I would suggest using the air box in post #10. The line going from the supercharger to the fuel pump is not vacuum. It is pressure to assist the fuel pump in overcoming the boost pressure of the blower. Although this pressure box would not have the OEM look, it does say Paxton & would eliminate any problems from the carb leaking without the pressure enclosure. You could run the 57/58 Golden Hawk setup with the 2bbl in it's pressure box, again not having the R-2 look but still functional.

The marine version has seals around the throttle shafts and accelerator pump to comply with USCG safety regulations (fuel/vapor leaks can be catastrophic in an enclosed environment like an inboard engine enclosure).

I haven't tried it, but many posts by users claim it is good to around 10 PSI boost without further mods.

You are using the early 57 Golden Hawk blower mount. When the blower is installed there is not enough room for the 4 barrel design carbs. That is why the early ones were limited to a blown two barrel. There is not enough clearance for a four barrel carb.
