I'm not in CA, but according to the mileage on my 1954 Atlas I'd suspect Livermore. Although, Pleasanton being off the main highway seems like a possibility.

I have seen this picture before. I think it is one of the big competitive road rallies in Europe. Pretty cool in my opinion.

This is in Farmville, North Carolina. The new motel being built is on the corner of Main and U.S. 264a. I cannot figure out what year the black Hawk is. Anybody know?

Cannot see enough of the Hawk to determine the year, but the Ford truck is a 1963 or 1964 F100 with 4WD

#8996 - It looks like the Hawk in the photo has the stripe in the fin making it a 1961.

#8996 No stainless wheel opening trim. Looks like a 57-58 Silver Hawk.
