I'm not in CA, but according to the mileage on my 1954 Atlas I'd suspect Livermore. Although, Pleasanton being off the main highway seems like a possibility.

I have seen this picture before. I think it is one of the big competitive road rallies in Europe. Pretty cool in my opinion.

                    • This is in Farmville, North Carolina. The new motel being built is on the corner of Main and U.S. 264a. I cannot figure out what year the black Hawk is. Anybody know?

Cannot see enough of the Hawk to determine the year, but the Ford truck is a 1963 or 1964 F100 with 4WD

                        • #8996 - It looks like the Hawk in the photo has the stripe in the fin making it a 1961.

                            • #8996 No stainless wheel opening trim. Looks like a 57-58 Silver Hawk.
