Studes in Roadside Americana photos

This is Klaudts Esso Service in Medicine Hat, Alberta. I checked population figures and found that Medicine Hat had a little over 25,000 people in 1964. I was surprised to see what seems to be quite and active Studebaker dealership in a town of that size that late in Studebaker's automotive history.

The more I look at that car behind the phone booth,I say it's not a Studebaker.I'm thinking that is a bodyside moulding that runs downward,not the Stude scallop.

#2114 sure looks like it has a Starliner hiding behind that Phone Booth in addition to the '59 Lark Wagon!

Also #2117 is quite an amazing Pic of what looks like a Motor Trend Mag. either Station Wagon face off Road Test or some kind of Mobilgas "Economy" Run just for Wagons? It is hard to tell with all of the needed lettering blocked by people.

Clark, the Hawk in #2153 would have to be a Power Hawk or Flight Hawk, a "C" body with a "B" pillar.

A Sky Hawk would be a "K" body with no "B" pillar. BP

In #2144, it looks like the folks are staring at someone lying on the ground? Perhaps having been hit by or fell off the streetcar????

There was a motorcycle involved in this accident as well. The person on the ground is probably the rider.
