Heard of the wide track? How about the narrow track? Interesting comparison

I wonder if the '41 President was damaged?

True, but to be fair, the wide-angle lens used does stretch the dimensions of anything not in the middle of the picture.

'Could be, Craig. Note the jacket wording on the guy with his back to us. It says Motor Trend Research. I doubt that was part of the Mobilgas Economy Run.

Also, if you look closely, the oval-shaped "O" in the period Ford Overdrive script appears to be on the tailgate of the Ford wagon behind the Studebaker. BP

Too bad we cannot see the tailgate on the Plymouth. I wonder if it has 'Hy-Drive'.

According to an E-Bay ad for the Sept '54 issue of Motor Trend, it's probably from a road test of these wagons; Chevrolet 210 Handyman, Ford six Mainline Ranch Wagon, Rambler Cross Country, Plymouth Belvedere Suburban, Studebaker Commander Conestoga and Willys Four Wheel Drive. September issue 1954 Motor Trend cover......."Testing Your Best Wagon".

This is correct, it's from a 1954 Motor Trend road test of various station wagons. I have this issue. They liked the Studebaker pretty well.
