              • No,thats my Dads car cause we had a new 55 like that and snow like thatand I was about that old as the kids in that photo and it seemed to me that all winters had snow like that in the 50s.Thats got to be somewhere in the northeast.Wehad WTGrants stores in our area too.

                    • #1212 is interesting, Joe. The folks are lined up to see a model home, I presume?

                      Note that it is early in the 1950s, before bright-colored cars exploded on the market beginning in 1955. Many dark cars in that photo; maybe one two-tone (much less a tri-tone!).

                          • That black Lark wagon (The Deceptive Lark) belonged to my brother, Dan Sallia. What a surprise to see a photo of it here. I have not even thought about that car for years. I will let Dan know it is posted here. He'll get a kick out of seeing it.

                              The photo of the black Lark wagon "Deceptive Lark" took me by surprise. That was my brother Dan's car in the late 60s. Can you tell me who took the photo? Also when and where?
