    • Posted on FB, received permission to post it. She told me her parents bought it in San Francisco from a Studebaker Dealer on Van Ness. She didn't know anything else about it.

A couple of stylish ladies heading for their stylish Studebaker! Probably a lot heads turned that day.😁

          • These are two pictures of a drunk driver accident that my father-in-law (Bob Bratager) was involved in Labor Day of 1963 outside of Norfolk, NE. He survived with a few cracked ribs. Other driver ran away and Police had to chase him.

            • Wow he was very lucky to have survived, it appears to have rolled as well as the major hit in the rear.

Yes exactly what happened. Great testament to Studebaker cars!

                • Permanent display in the coliseum at the Minnesota State Fair. Hard to read for the thick paint, but you can just make out “…BAKER” on the hub below the upper right rivets.

                  • And that's not the only Studebaker on permanent display at The Minnesota State Fairgrounds. There is a buggy in the Minnesota Territorial Pioneers' Log Cabin (across the street from the Ag building):Click image for larger version

If they had continued North a couple Blocks they would have been to Market & Florence Ave. where Afton Studebaker was, so the '51 could have been going there !
