I think I know where you are coming at this as should be in Cars for sale section. It might be if there was a sign on the car "For Sale" with contact information. Yet, no sign, a supposition, and a cold contact trail after 2 years.
Thanks for your input.

Not exactly in Roadside Americana, but I recognized this quote from a recent Stellantis production report. How many times did I painfully read those exact words back in 1963 and 1964, watching Studebaker die?
"Stellantis NV is cutting almost 1,700 jobs at its Jeep Cherokee plant in Illinois, the transatlantic automaker said Friday...
The automaker is reducing shifts at Belvidere Assembly Plant from two to one by July 26. The move, which seeks to "balance sales with production," will indefinitely lay off 1,641 employees making the compact crossover, Stellantis spokeswoman Jodi Tinson said in a statement.....

The last active Bonnie Doon drive-in, on Lincolnway in South Bend, IN, is a part of roadside America. I've started a facebook group: Bonnie Doon and Studebaker Memories. hoping people will share their Bonnie Doon, Studebaker, and South Bend nostalgia. Bonnie Doon and Studebaker Memories | Facebook

From the Sunday, May 16, 2021 Old Motor.
It looks like a 1947 California plate and her Studebaker might be the newest car in the lot, so I'll bet it's one of the first ones in the neighborhood. (That LR wheel sure looks rusty, though!)
Might it have been assembled in the Vernon CA plant? I'm not sure when they ramped up immediate postwar assembly.BP

How I would love to step into these old pictures and spend a little time in that (admittedly idealized) era. The cars are just one of the reasons.
Great photos. I always see the cars first, but then I take a minute or two to enjoy every detail, free of any negative aspects of the time.Proud NON-CASO

When I first saw the gas prices, I thought maybe all those cars were for a movie setting. Then I looked closer and saw the decimal point so it was 28.9 and 31.9 instead of today's 289 and 319. English Ford a rare sight.
