Agreed on that one, Joe, but I think it is a '47-'49 (no bullet-nose).

The other one I think is a Studebaker might be a 1940 or 1941 Champion, black, and closer to us. First find the big, tall 1930s Packard, almost dead center in the middle of the photo. Then look to the Packard's right. The dark (black?) car trying to change lanes (wheels turned to the car's left) is what I think is the second Studebaker in the photo. (If that car succeeds in making the lane change, he will be in front of the light-colored 1951 or 1952 Hudson.) BP

        • Cool beans; the first photo appearing in the Sunday, June 21, 2020 Old Motor. Assuming the Lark is a 1960 and a V-8, it's a twin to the 1960 Lark 4-door I "R2-ized" in the mid-60s to terrorize the streets with a non-descript 4-door Lark :

          • More from today's Old Motor: Stude far right, center:

            • Still more from The Old Motor. Is that a light-colored Starlight Coupe barely visible on the right?

              • If not it would be a seriously super-new Chevy Nomad...

                • I hope somebody can find a Studebaker in this image from today's Old Motor. I can't offhand, but I posted it because of the prominent Studebaker-Packard Corporation car in the photo; the 1956 Packard Executive 4-door sedan almost dead-center. It's a rare car in and of itself; one of only 1,784 built: BP

You are correct, it would be mighty difficult to miss that Packard. It is a mighty good looking car in my opinion.

                    • I've heard that Rambler counts as Studebaker by some people, so we're safe!
Not many Cadillacs, Lincolns, Imperials or even Buick or De Soto in that picture!

                          Bob Palma,
The lone Studebaker is visible in this shot from The Old Motor. Black 47-52 sedan between the two skinny black poles.

Wait a minute: Isn't that a 1957 4-door wagon right below the subject black 47-52 sedan a couple rows? BP

                            • From the Sunday, July 5 Old Motor. Look just to the right of the two-tone GMC pickup?

                              • To the right, I see a '56 Plymouth. To the LEFT of that pickup, I see a ivory/tan '50 Champion Starlight coupe.
