    • Is that a C/K along the curb, right below the letter "E" of H A R D W A R E?

And that little kid had better sit down and get his hands inside the car! BP

        • Love seeing the Western Auto Store. They fell victim to buyouts, leverage, Sears and other things that happened after the original founders passed and corporate mismanagement not having a clue to run an auto parts business. Too bad I remember going there with Dad.

          • #9977 - That appears to me to be a Speedster (with the roof "halo"). Perhaps someone else can get a better/bigger view than I can.

I bought many things at the Western Auto stores in Beacon, NY and Poughkeepsie, NY. I knew the guy that owned the Beacon store. I remember when it was built and when he went out of business. The building still stands and has been many different businesses since then.

If it is the white car we are talking about it does not look like a hardtop to me.
Oh, and I love the MG TF.

                    • #9984 - The picture is very fuzzy for me. It looks like a '58 Ford, a '61 Desoto and a '59-'60 Lark, but what is the small car to the right of the Ford?

                        • Why does the Lark look bigger than the MoPar?

                          • Probably the smallest MoPar ever, a 60-62 Valiant / 61-62 Lancer with 64-66 Valiant tail lights...

The Lark is taller and narrower than the Desoto, the same as it appears (to me) in the picture.
