                              This does not look like that building from the front, but I am wondering if this was a view from a side street and we are looking at a view of part of Gorman Studebaker that was not the front elevation. I do not remember the names or nature of any businesses in the immediate area.

                              While Dad was negotiating the '57 Commander, I was looking over the new 1959 Larks in Gorman's big showroom. I'll bet it held ten cars or so, a large Studebaker dealership, for sure. BP

                                According to the Facebook post I borrowed it from, "On old Rte 99 just south of Bakersfield, near "The Grapevine". Now Interstate 5 runs through there."
