  • Hey Joe, I think I might have found the solution. If this picture I just pasted works, and is visible to other members, It could be that I have stumbled on the answer. Private message me and I will attempt to explain! The picture was the one with the RED X in post #9258.

OK, so if it is still a red X for you two, my solution will not work without some extra steps. However, I have found a way to make the picture appear for me. Perhaps it is something to do with the website the picture is copied from. Here's the site... https://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/...0dbc6627875260

The site is jalopyjournal.com If you click the above link, and still get a red X, place your cursor over the "refresh" button and click on that. Let me know if the picture appears then.

Unfortunately, for me the link opens a dark screen with the same miniature red-X thing in the center.

            • 9274 --- There's just a complete black screen with a tiny photo in the middle covered by the X. I didn't see a refresh button.

Once you get to the pic as you describe above...look up to the right of the address bar on your computer...what I call the refresh button will be a small symbol that looks like this......click on that and see if the picture comes up.

Good Grief! This is kinda like watching the Sunday race...I just awoke and realized I've missed what's been happening.

About my instructions...always a risky thing. There's a chance it only works for me, or I left something out. Oh well...time to go to bed, hope I can sleep as good there as I've been sleeping in this chair.

RATS! I have just got my new computer up and running with Windows 10. Our old computer was running Windows vista. I thought that was part of my RED X problem and thought it would be solved with this updated computer since only some of us have the issue. No such luck. John, your previous solution still works for me, though. Copy the location, open new tab, paste, and refresh. A bit cumbersome, but my OCD about missing posts in this thread is happy.

                              • Yes, Paul I agree. I toured the Avanti factory there in 1980 and it is as I remember it. The other brand x's in the picture would indicate it was taken around that era.
