From the Studebaker National Museum Archives. Thanks to Milaca.
This was not shared via Photobucket! Is it me or do these cars have a strange bulletnose?

I have been noticing that some of my posts that have been up with pictures showing are popping up wih the big X on them and no picture. Alhough I do not use Photobucket could this be part of the problems that have arisen with that service? I have never been able to figure all of this out so I hope at some point it can be resolved.Joe Roberts

This looks like the I-5 Freeway being built through downtown Seattle. The Seattle Police had some Studebakers in their fleet at this time. I don't think the detectives were too pleased when they loaded up with four in the car and had the six cylinder and automatic. James Street was quite steep as they pulled out of the parking garage.

Geeze, that station wagon on the roof of the Cordes Towing Service building sure took a hit in the left side. I wonder if the side impact air bags deployed? ('Trying figure out what make & model it is, too; possibly a late-50s MoPar with a flattened rear fin on that side?

I think it's one of these...a 1959 Dodge. Back when everybody was trying to "out garish" each other with the most outrageous fins!Originally posted by BobPalma View Post
