(If so it might have the 241 "baby"-Hemi & be quite fast for its time.)
          So, is it?
Hemi's in stock autos were fast, as in top speed, but never quick. I remember a dark red one that showed up at Milan Dragway and the track in Windsor in the late '60's. It was in the same class as my '52 Starlight. I embarrassed him badly both places and never saw him again.

          • While not on the road at the moment I was planning on taking the camper out for a drive but it started to rain and with all the crazy people around here I thought better of it. People around here do not know how to drive in the rain as the body shops can attest to. Getting ready to change out the front clip. Hopefully tomorrow that happens.

                  • From "Odds against tomorrow", a 1959 film noir directed by Robert Wise. In one second, the Saab will crash into the Studebaker.

The police driver is R King with that '62 Lark being allocated to the Wireless Patrol of the Victorian Police. They registered 328 Studebakers between 1962 & 1966, perhaps a world record for Police Forces?
