      • I reckon that was the meaning of it...
        & because of that I always thought if I ever get a -52 I'm gonna paint the chrome triangle bit that splits the grill openings same color as the rest of the car!
        That would be the only reason for me to own a -52 thou...

                        • In 8444, the fellow being interviewed looks to me to be Eisenhower, although we don't see enough of the fellow to know for sure. Does anybody know if he visited the plant at the start of the 1952 model year production? He would not yet have been elected or even nominated - that was all later in 1952.
