  • The advanced styling of the 51 Starlight in #8428 sure makes it stand out from the rest of the crowd.

          • From the Friday, March 24 Hemmings Daily Blog:

'Must've been a doggone good Hudson dealer in that area to have two '55s in this photo!

(And what kind of car is that convertible in front of the yellow '57 Chevy; the convertible with the trunk open?) BP

Ah, yes, Craig; I had not looked closely enough to see that right tail light. Good call. BP

                  • The right tail light was the only part that gave it away for me also. I still can't find a Studebaker though in 8435.

There's a two-tone dark and light blue 1957 President Classic backed in on the back row, between the '57 Chevy and '58 Ford. BP

                      • The Blue bottom light Green top 56-57 next to the Coral and white 57 Chev, in the center, right of the top row.

                        • There's a dark blue(?) 1957 President Classic backed in on the back row, Tom, between the '57 Chevy and '58 Ford. I might agree with Alan, though; it could be two-tone green. BP

                              • "A chuck wagon on the job in eastern Colorado in the 1930s. As two cowboys rest (right), a more junior member of the crew is shown dumping a gunnysack of cow chips near the cook fire, where a pot hangs. Note the crude but serviceable modifications to the common farm wagon."
