            What's in front of the blue Mercury and "above" the white '57 Chev 2dr hard top? It's black, angle of the windshield post, rear window and rear fender line looks like a C/K to me.

                As an aside, I counted 8 bugs and 5 Corvairs.

                I remember that time period even though I was born in 61. That was one parking lot you wanted to jot down your aisle and section. As you might guess, the sections were named after Disney characters. Even then it could be a challenge to find your car at night. Today, that parking lot is completely gone, covered by California Adventure, a hotel and Downtown Disney reaching from the ticket area out to the original hotel in the far distance.

                • Some more pictures from "Show 'em the road".
                  Of course, the winner, Paul Schifferdaker drove a Studebaker (Champion, I think) averaging 55 ton-miles per gallon.
                  Ralph DePalma can be seem in the award picture.
